So I have a 1TB HDD, and a 2TB HDD. My 1TB drive is pretty much completely full and has windows 7 on.

I bought my second 2TB drive as a result of that, and i made a partition for windows 8 that is 500gb.
The rest of it is just "unused Storage"
However, i am enjoying the new 8.1 so i want to expand it, because i'm installing all my new games here and running out of space.
Windows won't let me expand. So how can i expand this 500gb partition to 1TB and keep the windows 8 partition in tact,. just make it larger.

Thanks.

I had this same issue a few months back, but for the life of me can't remember the program I used.

Check through this thread and see if any of the program mentioned work for you; none of them ring a bell, but they seem to have worked for the folks there.
Extend Boot Partition

Make sure you back up any important data prior to attempting.

Good luck, let us know how it worked for you!

EDIT: I believe this link contains the instruction and program I used myself: Another Option

Good deal - that's actually the 2nd link I edited in.
Worked like a charm for me - you may get error popups from installed programs while the process runs, but as I mentioned no errors persisted after completion.
