I was looking at the MSI 770 4GB originally but what about a Gigabyte 760 4GB? I want it to be able to handle games on a 2560x1600 display and regular desktop stuff on a 1080p display. I have only ever had intergrated graphics on my laptop and then HD 7750 on my current PC so I don't really know how much power and VRAM I'd need for this setup.

Well , you will need a 4gb video card for the 2560x1600 that's for sure and the second monitor also. You would be better off with the GTX 770 4gb but if the budget is an issue then the 760 should work but the higher resolution will take a toll on the FPS in gaming.

You will be able to run it reasonably. Long as you're only gaming on one and doing mini task on the other. However, you will see bit of FPS drop on your gaming.
