This wil be my first PC building experience so any tips would be great.
Do you think all these components go well together?

Prices are in Australian and don't worry about saving money, i just want to know if these components are high quality, reasonable, future proof and if one is better then the other
CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor $399.00, 4770k cause I multitask alot which includes video editing, playing games, surfing web, downloading and many others
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D14 65.0 CFM CPU Cooler (Does not support Socket 2011) $89.00, heard its better than the Corsair H80i and H100i coolers , if this is wrong please prove me wrong
RAM: Corsair Vengence 16gb (2x8gb DDR3 1600) $159.99 for my multitasking needs
Mobo: Asus Maximus VI Hero $305.00,
Need a mobo that is high quality and performance and also new pc builder friendly so i don't get and problems for any apparent reasons, Im also an overclocking newbie so i went through alot of forums and it appears the maximus hero is the best for overclocking so i chose that mobo plus its idiotproof (me) and i was satisfied with the included soundcard, UEFI BIOS design and the forums i went through with Asus Maximus IV Hero vs other mobos . Unless they were all marketing gimmicks and a bunch of asus fans......
SDD: Samsung 840 Pro Series 256GB 2.5" Solid State Disk $255.00, good quality SDD
HDD: Western Digital WD1003FZEX WD 1TB Black 3.5” 7200RPM SATA3, $104.99 good quality HDD
GPU: I will be waiting for the r9 290 or 290x with custom coolers (hope its quieter!) and (i hope it will) out perform the 780, 780ti, otherwise the title titan killer is all fake.
Case: NZXT Phantom 410 (Red) ATX Mid Tower Case $125.00, I like the color red
PSU: Corsair TX-850M 80+ Bronze Modular Power Supply $189.00
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer $20, cheap DVD player to install wins 8
Alternate Components
PSU: Corsair HX850, heard its a high quality power supply (Out of Stock though)
GPU: I'm actually happy with any GPU that can run bf4 to +60fps but has to be future upgradable (Sli or Crossfire) for todays games
EVGA GeForce GTX 780 ACX 3GB (Out of Stock though)
EVGA GeForce GTX 780 ACX 3GB classified (Quite expensive and went through forums that the r9 290 is cheaper and out performs the 780, 780ti too bad its loud)
R9 290 or 290x: Fans too loud to play during night (when parents sleeping) and temp is really high, i don't want my room to be a sauna and watch my mobo melt
CPU Cooler: Corsair h100i (this is in stock though but read through alot of forums its only a difference of 3 celcius with the h80i)
CPU: Theres an Intel Core i7 4820K Quad Core LGA 2011 3.7GHz CPU Processor for
$371.99, I'm not sure if I should take advantage of that price, is there a difference in terms of gaming performance, (i don't do heavy video editing, only stuff like handbrake and photoshop)? If i swap to this, that means i'll need a 2011 socket mobo and a different cpu cooler
Additional Information:
I'm planning to build this computer early cause its for my brother's Christmas present without the graphics driver, so he'll only be playing games like minecraft and league of legends which should be fine.
This is a repost because i require additional information on this build, sorry for any inconvenience
