will this computer work? like will it all work and boot up and what not.... im semi new to building computers and i want to make sure that this computer will work before i buy it... i think everything is ok

Yes, but you do not want that HDD it is SLOW. You want a caviar glue or black.

also with that motherboard... can i RAID multiple HDD's? it doesn't say anything about it in the specs, or is RAID just a given on "newer" motherboards

You really want a quality RAID card if you are going to raid, but most all motherboards have decent raid control.

whats the difference?
like i have RAID on my macbook pro and i get 2x100mb/s drives and with the RAID i get 200mb/s so whats the difference if i were to get a RAID controller?
