Hey guys,
so I've been looking at home file/media sharing solutions and decided to build a home server.
Been looking at parts for a few weeks and had a couple of ideas but this is the one I think I'll stick with. If you'd like to know my other ideas, do go ahead and ask!
Anyway, here's the components. Just looking for feedback really.

CPU/Motherboard

RAM
Can't find it online, dunno the make or model! I have it already, here's the specs: 4GB 1333Hz DDR3 9-9-9-25 PC3-10600 Non ECC

PSU
Can't find one, please help?

Storage
2x4TB RAID 1, undecided on which drives. Suggestions? Going for something with low as possible price but good performance and reliability.
leaving storage costs out of my budget for now, but I still don't want to pay too much.

OS
WHS, FreeNAS or Ubuntu Server

My budget is £150 ($250)

Open to suggestions on anywhere I could improve without going over budget.

I just bought a 4TB Western Digital My Cloud for $230 USD which is pretty awesome. A few small issues because it's brand new that firmware updates will solve. I had to use Firefox for now as UE11 in Windows 8 isn't working properly.

It attaches to your ROUTER via an Ethernet and is capable of up to 80MB/second roughly for reads. Wi-Fi speed completely depends on your wireless network speed.

I've been looking to build a NAS for years and never found something I liked until now. The My Cloud also turns off the hard drive after 10 minutes of no usage.

It's DLNA compatible of course and "just works."

I watch media on my HDTV via a WDTV LIVE box though any media box like Roku etc should work provided they are DLNA compatible.

RAID1:
No support exactly for that, though you can add a USB hard drive to it and schedule BACKUPS of any content on the drive automatically so it can Mirror that in case the main drive fails, you replace it under Warranty, then RESTORE it.
