Computer Shuts Down During Game Play

Hey everyone, I'm trying to figure out whats wrong with my computer. Its been continuously shutting down during gameplay. Games it used to handle without a hitch it can now only handle a few minutes of. If anyone could help that would be great.

Specs:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
4 gb RAM
CPU: AMD FX-4100
Motherboard: GA-78LMT-S2P
Graphics: ATI AMD 760G

First thing that comes to mind is overheating. Computers will shutdown automatically when this happens. First thing to check is how much dust is inside your computer. Even a little can noticeably hurts temps. If you find any, vacuum it out (carefully) with your home vacuum's hose attachment then try gaming again. Let us know if you have another shutdown.

Edit: Be sure to check the air intake fan on your GPU as well. You will need to take it out to suck the dust from it.

I gave it a shot, but it didn't seem to do much. It still crashed in about 3 minutes. It does run unusually hot however. It did before as well, but not to this extent.
