Im not dead set on the gtx 780 thats just what i felt would be best for now. Really just looking for more opinions on the subject. If anyone has some news on mantle or something id love to hear it. Or g-sync for that matter. I have no preference amd or nvidia. but I am slighty biased towards amd because i love battlefield. And when i get this pc ill be wanting to kill battlefield 4 on ultra and other graphic intensive games like crysis 3 and hopefully the witcher 3 also. So again any opinions are welcome just looking to get a strongly recommended gpu that doesnt really require over clocking so i can get a good lifespan out of it. Im hoping this build will last me a good 5 years with minor upgrades along the way. Thanks ahead of time:)

I think you are going in a good direction then with your list. Snag the 780 then drop another one in for SLI when the same card becomes a $250 card 12 months from now. Just make sure that the Corsair PSU provides all of its power on a single rail so you don't end up with any issues down the road.

Like everything else when it comes to building a new rig, get the best of everything that you can comfortably afford. Since you mentioned AMD then you should snag one so you have no future regrets. I prefer Nvidia but AMD has been nearly neck and neck with them lately.

If you are serious about the $500 price tag then you may want to consider an R9 290, 4GB of memory card. I think $500 for a video card is nuts, but since you plan on keeping it for 5 years then that breaks down to only $100/year.

I mean im indifferent for both. http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/geforce_gtx_760_sli_review,18.html this site shows that running two 760s is better than a titan for half the price. and it says that a 770 and 780 are just as well is sli. Honeslty i feel that id lean more towards nvidida if i wasnt a battlefield fan and since ill be playing more games then just battlefield i feel i should go with nvidia. I have heard good things about the 290 and mantle sounds promising but im just not sure. one thing that bugs me about the 760 is that it isnt pcie 3.0 and is 2gb vram. so what im looking at now is going with a 770 or 780 for a single card now, then run it in sli later. Also i mean its not like i have to spend 500 on a gpu. I was hoping for this to be a real open post so i can get lots of feedback. If you have an alternative id love to hear it:) basically i dont see mysefl less than 300 on a gpu because i do want at least 3gb of vram for bf4 and such.
