I currently have an AMD FX 8320 in a stable overclock at 4ghz. The thing is ive gotten it to 4.4ghz and it never would pass the intel burn test, though it seemed stable.
I have an MSI 990FXA-GD80V2 board and a Corsair H55 hydro cooler. Back when i had it "unstable" at 4.4ghz, It would never go higher than 58c. That was using a repeater over clock.
How would you all recommend I overclock? I am decently new to this, I understand its luck of the draw with silicon, but there has to be something I can do better.
Suggested settings would be much appreciated! Havent seen much advice for this board.
