How to recover partition files from a disk which was converted into GPT under Mac OS?

The hard drive was used in Windows and the partition table is MBR. I was so curious that I tried converting it to GPT by my Mac OS. After the conversion, the disk was partitioned into two partitions.
Now there is no file on the disk! how to get them back, and what's the cost?

It's really hard, for your problem is too complicated. maybe you can try some data recovery software first. data recovery tool like eassos recovery can be easily found on the Internet. If the problem is still can not fixed, you'll have to find some computer geek to help you, which may cost quite a lot, I guess.
