So, I have 2 Xeon X5647 processors in my workstation and I'm looking to move these out of the workstation and into a proper case.
I'm using a Dell T5500, which uses a rather unreliable daughterboard setup.
Are there any enthusiast class motherboards for this?
Can you overclock these?

my friend just built an awesome PC similar to what I'd like
i7-4770K
GTX 770 4GB

we ran our 3DMarks side by side
The results were interesting.

Is there any benefit to flashing my 680 to a 770 BIOS?

Also, what is "Maximum Turbo Core Clock"?
why is mine so high and his so low?

this was all I could find, but can't actually find if it was sold:

The EVGA SR-2 is a dual 1366 board: http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-270-WS-W...UTF8&qid=1387248789&sr=1-1&keywords=evga+sr-2

No reason to flash your 680 to a 770. They're already the same thing, Nvidia simply added 40MHz to the base clock and a bit to the mem clock to make it look new and faster. You can overclock your 680 to these same specs (and better) without the risk of bricking your 680 if something should go wrong with the BIOS flashing.
