What mobo is better?

The Gigabyte board has a VIA audio chip. I can't confirm audio quality so you may wish to look into that.

The Asus board has the ability to flash the BIOS without a CPU or memory which can be handy if you get a new CPU and the BIOS is too old. No idea if Asus still ships boards with older BIOS that doesn't support the FX CPU's.

The Asus appears to be a solid value board.

You should also look at Amazon, Newegg or other places to look at customer reviews. The AVERAGE review score is handy as far as it goes but EVERY motherboard has lots of "it died" and similar comments.

Other:
There are scenarios such as the FX-6300 CPU that an AMD setup may be a good value, but if your TOTAL BUDGET is sufficient and it's a GAMING rig then my advice is an Intel setup such as an i5-4670K and 1150 motherboard.
