So on friday I went to my local Frys and bought a new computer case and a MSI gtx760 when i got home I put all the components from my old pc into my new case but it would not display/post. My old card worked just fine so I assumed it was a bad card. Today I go in to get a replacement, and one of the clerks tests the card on 3 diferent systems just to find out hat the card is bad just as I thought. Heres the real problem the clerk tells me that the serial number on the card does not match the one on the box, so they well not take it back. Talk about Bullshit after back and forwards arguing with the clerk its there word against mine so what the real question is well sending it back to MSI Warranty as a DOA get me a new card? or would i have the same issue with the serial numbers not matching up?

Solution
i heard a story about something similar, for some reason when it was packaged at the manufacturer the wrong card was in it and their card was DOA as well and they wouldnt take it back. Your best bet is to contact msi and show them your receipt as well as a picture of both the card and the box with the serial numbers. hopefully they will help you out.

they make mistakes as well

If you paid with your credit card you may have a insurance or file a complaint with your credit card provider. It always piss me off when dealers are acting like idiots!
Good luck Buddy.

Yeah im gana request an RMA with MSI...also one thing do i have to register the item to be able to send it to RMA?
according to the Serial on the box the Manufactured date was 09-2013 and on the card itself is 07-2013 so regardles the card should still be under Warranty no????
