Hello@all,

I was wondering if these components would work well together?
Is it better a 2x8gb or a 4x4gb for the RAM? Any help will be very appreciated.

ASUS X79 DELUXE
CPU INTEL CORE I7 4930K 3.4G 12M R
2x8G CORSAIR CMY16GX3M2A1866C9B

The System supports quad channel ram so it is actually better on that system to go with 4x4GB

Would I see a noticeable better performance if I use 4x4gb?

As far as I have seen there is not much speed difference like in this test http://www.tweaktown.com/articles/4416/intel_x79_quad_c...

They work together. If there is problems that is just bad luck.
