Hi this will be my first build - it's for gaming mainly. I ordered all of the parts but none have arrived yet.

Please let me know if you foresee any issues... I can still make returns!

I got good deals but I have a ton of rebates to fill out if you're wondering.

CPU: I7 4770K - won't really be o/c'ing, but I got this from a friend from intel retail edge.
CPU Cooler: CM Hyper 212 Evo - do I even need this over the stock? will i need thermal paste?
Mobo: Asus Z87-A ATX LGA 1150
Memory: G.Skill Ares 2x4GB DDR3-1600 - newegg just jacked up the prices before i could buy =\
Storage: Kingston Hyperx 120GB SSD - do i need a mounting kit?
Storage: will need another drive
GPU: PNY GTX 770 2GB
Case: Corsair Carbide 300R
PSU: Corsair CX 600W - will this be sufficient for this system? exteme calc shows i'll be under 450W conservatively, but nvidia min. recommended is 600W for the 770 gtx
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate - is this system very compatible with 7??

My main concerns are in bold if you could please answer. Any other suggestions are welcome.

Actually I don't know because I'm still waiting for my CPU from Intel Retail Edge program!! Only difference is I got G.Skill Ripjaws X (red) ram because it was cheaper.

After doing the research I think I would've been fine with less than 600W. The GPU i won't be overclocking since it comes overclocked, and i read there is not much room to o/c more. the cpu i might overclock in the future but for now, no.

unfortunately haven't tried yet... honestly noise is not really an issue. I don't think I'll need the hyper 212 evo, but honestly just wanted to experience changing that out as this is my 1st build. hah

Okay well i have basically the same systen an intel i7 4770k 8gb ram corsair vengance and a gtx 770. and you said that a 600w psu is enough? could you suggest some issues i may be having because when i go to boot my pc for the first time without software or anything, because im just now building. when i turn it on only the psu fan and gpu fan spin like once but the cpu fan does nothing? any suggestions?

I just finished my build and everything is up and running really great. I never tried the stock cpu fan, but the hyper 212 evo seems to be working very well.

TjChamp4 - this is the first PC i've built so I really am not that knowledgeable sorry! I know you probably have checked already, but check to see if the fan was plugged in properly? also try plugging fan into another fan plug on your mobo and see if that works so you can at least try to figure out what issue is. if it doesn't work on any of the fan plugs then maybe the fan is bad.
