I have assus p9x79 deluxe motherboard after I turn on computer bios setup allways starts. I can't change Boot priority in the EZ Mode wehere you drag with mouse all devices and click one to activate this doesn't work. I can see all devices on the Advanced Mode -> Boot menu all priorities are set correctly and still after start/restart Bios setup shows. Any idea where the problem can be?

Make sure the CMOS jumper is in the 1-2 position ( You could try a simply CMOS clear while you are there ). Have you saved the BIOS settings? You only have to save it once, but then it should work. I don't think you activate anything in the boot order. You simply drag your devices to the order you want, usually: Optical and/or USB, then the OS SSD/HD. Then exit and save. You could check the BIOS battery too.

Hi, thanx for you answer. I tried to clear the CMOS with no results. How can i check the battery? But i think it works because after some time being shutdown the BIOS settings do not reset. Yes I have saved the bios settings. After I change boot order in the EZ Mode and do exit & save nothing is saved. Strangest is that after start setup allways starts without any interruption. I have checked directkey on the motherboard and it's ok.

I believe Asus has a feature in "Tools" to allow you save multiple BIOS settings for different OCing set ups. Even though you aren't OCing for now, you might want to see if saving your settings in one of those choices works. You may have a very real problem that will require Asus's help. I called them years ago and found the guy was quite helpful. We eventually verified that I did have a defective board and he facilitated a quick exchange with Amazon. I had a new one in 2 days, even before the old one was back!
The only other thing you could try is re-installing the BIOS or install a newer version if available. It is very easy with Asus boards. Simply download the newest BIOS to a USB stick and unzip it. ReStart and go to "tools", EZ BIOS (2?). You will see the file, choose it, follow the simple instructions and then it restarts to allow you to set the BIOS up and you should be good. If you do this and it still jumps to the BIOS first, then I would call Asus!

One more thing I tried to disconnect everything and leave only mouse and HDD, At the startup it writes USB devices: 1 Drive, 2 Keyboards, 1 Mouse, 4 hubs. Where the hell it found 2 keyboards? because I disconnected keyboard. If i connect the keybord then it writes 3 keyboards
