Hi
I'm currently working on an embedded device with no USB or CD rom (or floppy)
I need to install Windows and embed the AHCI driver. I install Windows by sharing the CD drive on an additional laptop and using the "net use" command on the host to in a WinPE enviroment to runthe Windows installation.
I know i can use nlite to slipstream the AHCI drivers into a new XP ISO but i was wondering if i can achieve my goal without additional software.
If i copy the contents of the XP install disk to a folder on the additional laptop (which i will then share), can i drop the AHCI drivers into that folder and somehow get Windows to pick them up during the ethernet install? The only way i know to get windows to look for AHCI drivers is to use the F6 command and use a USB floppy disk, obviously this isn't an option.
I'd really appreciate the feedback.
Thanks
