I have a laptop ( HP ProBook 445 G1 with Windows 7 64-bit). It's got AMD Radeon HD 8650G.

But the problem is that the graphics card is not working. I installed AMD Catalyst but when I run AMD VISION Engine Control, it says "AMD VISION Engine Control cannot be started. There are currently no settings that can be configured using AMD VISION Engine Control Center."

Also, when I try to run a game, it says "Graphics card couldn't be identified."

I went to Device Manager, but under 'Display Adapters only "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" is present.
Please suggest a solution. Is it a problem with the drivers?

Solution
First uninstall all the graphics drivers. Also, use amd cleaunp utility (download it) which will perform a clean unistalltion. And then Download VIDEO DRIVERS FROM YOUR MANUFACTURER"S WEBSITE OF YOUR SAME LAPTOP. Then install them. This will do it and your gpu will work fine.
