Upgrading cpu. Unsure if Motherboard can handle it.

Hey everyone, I've got an MSI MS7599 motherboard with an AMD Phenom II x4 910 that I've had for just over 5 years. Figuring it was time for an upgrade, I was wondering if the AMD FX3820 would work with my motherboard. If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated!

unfortunately not..
your motherboard is MSI 870-G45 AM3, with 770 chipset..it's limited with only Phenom II / Athlon II / Sempron class..

if you want get that processor, you must buy a new motherboard..

Thanks for the quick reply, man! Do you have a motherboard or other good gaming processor you would suggest, or do I need to make a new question on a different forum about it?
