Could my OC be causing BSOD's?

Hello, over the past few days i've been having issues with my new build so I guess I should start with my specs -

i7 4930k @ 4.6GHz
H100i (Stock fans replaced with Noctua fans)
Asus Rampage IV Extreme
16GB Corsair Vengeance @ 2133Mhz
2 x GTX 780 ti Superclocked
1 TB Seagate HDD
240 GB Corsair SSD SATA III (I have installed Windows 7 here)
Corsair AX 1200i

After several attempts of installing Windows 7, and encountering multiple BSOD's - which included Hardware malfunction screens, IRQL-not-less-or-equal and BSOD Dumps.

I'm not sure whether it's down to the fact that a few of my hardware pieces are overclocked, to which I should add should be completely stable as I purchased them in an "Overclocked Bundle" from Scan.co.uk. I have also done some minor tests (as I have not had much time due to these BSOD nuisances) and my CPU temperatures seem to be alright, 25c idle - 50c gaming in a warm room.

I actually thought I had surpassed these problems last night, after my third attempt of installing Windows 7, (turning off Windows Automatic Updates since these seemed to be the problem to me, as it would get stuck on 0% when trying to configure previous updates and would end up just reverting these changes) when I got a blue screen after installing a single Windows update and my PC would no longer recognize my SSD...

Also, just to add I am using the latest bios, GPU drivers and have installed the motherboard drivers using the disc.

I am completely lost, if anyone could lend a hand? Thanks!

Hey, thank you for getting back. See, the problem is that I'm not sure if I can drop the memory speed down as I may void my warranty with these items. They came overclocked and I received word "NOT" to change the bios settings relating to my overclock. They came with two profiles "Stock" and "OC". When I run it on the stock profile the CPU runs at 3.9GHz (Which I don't think is the correct stock rate, should be 3.4GHz I think).

By any chance, could it be my SSD? I dread thinking it could be anything else, especially CPU related. I'll try running the stock profile when I get home and let you know if that works! Again, thanks!

I'll give them a ring and see what I can and am allowed to do without messing things up. I have been told a bios reset could resolve certain issues, but I believe it would wipe my bios profile saves too.

Unless your motherboard has profile saving capability, a BIOS clear and reset will most definitely wipe out your profiles.

If changing settings could cost you your warranty then they've probably added a BIOS password, and a clear and reset will wipe that out as well, then they will know for sure you've messed with it.

Yeah, the Asus Rampage IV Extreme has profile saving capability. What I plan on doing is setting my SSD to ACHI in the bios, if it's not already set to that, and remove a stick or two of ram to see if that does anything. I could probably use Scan's "Stock" profile @ 3.9Ghz to see if that helps, I don't really think i'll be needing 4.6GHz anytime soon.

I also checked their warranties, it seems it should be okay as long as I don't save over their profiles. Although i'm clueless about overclocking and don't even know how to downclock. Kinda the reason why I purchased the pre-clocked bundle.
