Thanks for the reply but I'm from the Philippines and I can't find my country in the request form. I'll just ask our local supplier if they can provide me a spare part, I'm now using the reset button as power
Just wanted to weigh in and say I have exactly the same issue with my N200. I'm in Australia so like pricetag_geek I can't deal with CM direct and need to go back to my retailer. No idea whether they can give me a replacement button or not, and being rather lazy, I'd really prefer not to RMA the entire case and rebuild the machine :-(
It's a shame such a small / low cost part has detracted from the case, because otherwise during the pc build I've been very happy with it.
just use the reset button as power, its the easiest fix we could get.
True, that would be an OK solution but my finger is too big to push that button
I actually found another solution. I tried taking off the front cover then I sprayed the power button with a dry lubricating (silicone based I think?) aerosol spray made by Selley's called "Ezy-Glide". I waited for the spray to dry then but the cover back on. The button doesn't stick anymore!
Keep in mind I have no idea if this spray will attack the plastic over time but I think it should be OK. Looking at the design I'm not surprised the button jams, the actuating rod is right on the bottom side and there is no other means of support at the top, so of course it rotates and jams in the recess. The lubrication seems to make it slippery enough that it doesn't jam.
