I'm looking to build a new gaming PC w/ monitors and I'd like to spend less than 2300. I usually play moba's, rpg's and fps. I also program and use 2 monitors at work so im so used to seeing 2 and i want to stick with that. I plan on buying everything from newegg as I will be using my preferred account to purchase this rig. I'm still unsure what to do about the monitors but here is everything I picked out.

PC case: Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced Blue Edition

Just one thing, if you get two monitors, you won't be able to see most of your targets in FPS because of the separation between the monitors

Forgot to mention that I will be gaming off of one.. the multi monitor will be used when I program/do homework. Also I chose those 2 monitors because id use the 144Hz when playing fps and the 1200p with the rpg/ mobas. However I did hear that 1200p isnt that great anymore.. is that true?

well 1080p is the normal monitor resolution nowadays. You will get a 4K display if you want to, but it's not really necessary and really expensive!
I would recommend taking the Intel core i5 4670K because it is overclockable and your Mainboard is really good for doing so!

Things I'd change in your build:
CPU: Get an i5 4670k, it is overclockable: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116899
GPU: I'd get an MSI version of that card, since it is better cooled, when it gets on stock again: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127747
RAM: It's too expensive. Get this instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231489
PSU: I'd get a better quality brand, like Seasonic, XFX or Corsair
SSD: I'd get this instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127747

Aand that's about it :p

It's actually on sale for 5 dollars more so that's good.. I'll go ahead and change that on my list. Thanks!

Do you think it would just be worth it to get 2x the 1080p 144Hz monitors? Or are there other brands that are also good choices. I'd like to spend under 300 on each one.

Yeah the CPU ill switch. As far as the GPU goes, I'll look into that and see when it will become available. I plan to purchase it before Christmas. I hope they'll have it in stock.

Also for the ram, I purchased GSkill on my last pc build and they didn't last very long so I'm a little fishy about grabbing that. As far as the SSD goes, it seems the link was for the GPU :p

Thanks!

G.Skill is very high quality, I guess you just had bad luck

Alright thanks for the link Francisco

No I only chose this monitor as it was the only one with 144Hz. Do you know of any other good monitors? Because I probably would never use the 3D feature.
