I have the stock cooler installed currently but want to install an aftermarket cooler. But I can't because the stock one is stuck on the motherboard, any ideas on how I can get it off?
did you try turning the pegs, if you didn't mangle the cooler during install once you turn the pegs the way the arrows are pointing they should all just pop out. Its usually much easier to uninstall an intel stock cooler than it is to install it
Would love to supply a picture but I am currently at work. Basically two of the pins are locked in place and will not unlock when I twist them, so the pins are stuck in the motherboard with no way of being unlocked

I didn't mangle it in any way, just put it on and it all worked, but I have tried turning the pins both ways and it still will not come off

Could take the mobo out of the case (yes its a pain in the butt) and use something small to push them back through.
Might be able to use a small pair off wire cutters and snip the plastic connectors. The coolers are so cheap online i would just cut it. Its more of a pain removing everything

I already have another cooler to install, just couldn't install it because the old one was stuck
