I have an old Dell laptop, an Inspiron 600m, which I am doing the digital picture frame project on. The hard drive on it is no good and I have a, now older, 64gb Kingston SSDnow laying around that I bought and never used, so I don't have to buy another hard drive. Which is the right adapter I would need? SATA to IDE?

Thanks

Yeah that's true. I will look for one, thanks! actually I have an 8gb thumb drive maybe I could get away with using that instead,

I'm not sure of what this picture fram project entails but if it means taking the system board out of the casing then you might be able to use a sata to ide adapter combined with an ide to laptop ide adapter and plug the blade adapter into that and then plug the whole thing into the system board.
<whew> LoL

(the blade adapter is on the existing hdd)

basically putting all the parts except the keyboard/mousepad and into a picture frame.
