Hey Guys,

I am slightly concerned with a GPU upgrade.

I have a Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 Ghz Edition at the moment and I am considering upgrading to a 7870. What is the maxium size of graphics card for this case: http://www.ebuyer.com/501604-cit-vantage-type-r-midi-me... and would a 7870 fit?

Cheers

Measure from one of the expansion slot covers to the first obstruction you come to; like the drive cage or a drive in the cage. Then check against the model HD 7870 you are considering. Looking at a pic of the inside of that case, it doesn't look like it will be a problem... as long as there isn't a drive in the 3 1/2" bay directly in line with the card. I have a SAPPHIRE 100354OC-2L Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB. It measures 217mm long. Keep in mind that most HD 7870s have rear access to the PCIe aux power headers. So, you'll want to be sure you have room for the cables to snake in.
