hello..3 days ago i built my first (budget) gaming pc...i have noticed that the temps are a little bit high and the stock cooler that came with my cpu(amd athlon x4 750k) isnt enough...will this cooler be better than the stock one?will it drop the temps so i can be confortable while playing games and not be worryed about the temp?(temp while playing with stock cooler is close to 70c) so this is the cooler that i am thinking of buying http://www.coolermaster.com/product/Detail/cooling/cpu-... (i am on a budget and this cooler is affordable for me...)

It will, but you may find its 92mm fan whiny. If possibly, buy a 120mm cooler. There are many less expensive choices than the frequently parroted CM coolers (e.g. the Hyper212 family). Performance will be similar across the board (+/- 1C-3C; all much better than stock). If I were buying a cooler today, I would probably choose this one, from NZXT: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Yes, the cooler is definitely better than the stock cooler, but you can get significantly better performance by just dropping a few extra bucks.

My recommendation would be Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. Another recommendation would be the Enermax ETS T40, it is similar to the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, just a little ahead of the CM's Cooler.

Hyper 212 EVO costs about $30. Enermax ETS T40 costs about $40, at least the last time I checked it.

@Onus, it claims to be silent.
@123, it would be fine; but I'd step up to a CM Hyper 212(as Onus mentioned).

right now i am on a very tight budget...those 2 that you recomended me cost 40 euros...the one that i asked is 20 euros...half of the price...i will not be overclocking...i will mostly playing games...my temp while gaming is 70C with the stock cooler...thats what i DONT want...70C while playing...will that one do the job better so i can enjoy while i am playing and not having to worry about my temp?

Yes it will. Keep in mind that many coolers claim to be silent; fan size will determine the overall tone of the sound they do make. In my own experience, a 92mm fan has a more annoying tone than a 120mm fan, even if the latter is louder.
As I expected, a few people have parroted the more-expensive CM coolers. If you can find a NZXT or Xigmatek 120mm cooler, it will be cheaper, and may be within your budget.

But anyways, Hyper TX3 is at least better than the stock cooler. Hence it should be good to go, if you are not overclocking.

About 5-10 degrees, if not more, but it would be definitely quieter than the stock cooler which is really noisy from my experience.

If I had to guess, you'll be at 55C-60C gaming, 40C-45C browsing, and 32C-34C idle.

Just remember there are equally competent but cheaper coolers than the Hyper212 EVO; there's no need to pay extra for the name.
