Hi guys, i just got my 780 ti Evga, i got the regular one instead of the supercloaked one because pretty much everyone tell me theres no need to pay extra 30 bucks for something i can easily do myself.

So the answer is how much should i overcloak this card with out worrying to much. And which software is the best one to do it?

My specs are i5 4670k (with h110) 16gb 2133, air flow of the case is great and (storm stryker) MSI z87-G45, and 850 corsair psu plus gold.

Thanks!

You can if you want. But the sweet spot on that card is 1006.2 MHz used the EVGA precision x or MSI or GALAXY Xtreme Tuner Plus test your overclock and temp and turn the fan speed up keep an eye on it. And you can go download different BIOS http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/ and watch this and read this from this website http://www.trickmasterpc.com/ But I wouldn't want to void the warranty.
you shouldn't. you should overclock to mitigate some issues - low fps in some games. without such a need (the 780ti can play pretty much anything) there's no reason to overclock - yet.

really, dont overclock just for kicks. it's all fine and dandy till you break something that could have worked for years and warranty is refused because overclocking damage is NOT under warranty.

if anything i would downclock my card to make it more silent.

Well im using this card for a triple monitor set up, so if i can push it a little bit i think i can get better perfomance overall.

The 780ti performs great on a single monitor no doubt. But i want the better performace i can get on 3 if the risk is not to high.

it's not such a big risk, i just meant overclock if you need to not because you want to. the suggestion above from ironsounds is spot on, monitor temps while gaming and increase the clock rate in small steps. revert back as soon as there's any artifacts or instability.
