Buying my first SSD!

I am buying my very first SSD for my system and am a little confused on what exactly I am looking for. I'm not really familiar with the specifications on them, but what are other factors besides storage size that I should be looking at?

For example:

Why in the world is THIS SSD:

So much more expensive than THIS SSD despite having less storage:

When you buying ssd you should see these specs:
Sequential Read/Write, Waranty, Features, Chips

Best of is Samsung 840 Evo, buy minimum 250GB
If you want guarantee then go with Pro version...

personally i have a problem recommending the evo unless you're on a tight budget. i don't like the tlc flash to be honest we have no data on how it will handle long term use. sure, for someone being careful on the host writes even the standard 840 is an option and the evo is just awesome but for users who dont care i tend to recommend mlc (840 pro or sandisks)

Mind that when I speak about lifespan we are talking about like 20 years for the evo vs 50 years for the pro.
