I have two 6 year old children that want to have their own computers. What is a good cpu mobo and gpu for not crazy price. I have everything else case hard drives monitors and all that. Just need something they can do basic things on and play a few games on medium settings.

They will just be playing stuff on ABC mouse and Nickelodeon and stuff like that. Maybe a little COD but are probably too young for that. My son likes nba 2k14 so probably play that a little as well. Price range around 600 - 800 for cpu mobo memory and gpu.

First, NEVER let 6 year old's on the internet unsupervised for ANY reason!
Second, you probably don't need anything fancy have you thought about refurbished? I got mine on eBay for $300 and have since upgraded the GPU for personal reasons

medium- high

either of these will work and play a few games easily on medium settings even high
