Today I installed a new AMD FX 8150 processor in my rig. I know it is compatible, it was a replacement for my previous one of the same model. I also am sure it has been installed correctly. I went through the 17 steps for troubleshooting prior to posting this, so yes, it has power.
So I turn the computer on, all the fans spin, I get a power light, but no other LEDs. The CD drive makes a nice functional noise, but then nothing else happens. No beeps. I had the most recent BIOS before I replaced the CPU. I do not have the previous processor as I had to send it back for my warrenty replacement. I have reseated literally everything that can be reseated.
