Is this a good/balanced build for gaming?

Is this going to play games exceptionally well at ultra 60 fps etc? I feel it is a very balanced build and I am comfortable with it but would like to know if i should swap anything out to save money without giving up the performance I know these products give. Mainly should I change the motherboard if its a bit overkill or is it good? Am I all set with the fan I've chosen or should I get water cooling. Those are my only real concerns. Thank you in advance!

That mobo/RAM are expensive. You should just get an Asrock Extreme 4 Z87, and 2x8 GB DDR3 1600 MHz (you'll notice no difference over the 1866), and I would get at least a 620W Seasonic PSU. 750W if you ever want to SLI. Also, a GTX 770 is almos just as powerful for $100 less.

With that motherboard will I see no performance difference? Id rather spend extra and get the performance than spend much less and get well... less. Will the 780 put me a bit more towards the future? If so i dont mind the extra cost but if it literally doesnt do much at all then ill go 770. Like I said though I dont mind spending the money if its worth it. Thank you for the RAM and PCU suggestions Ill change those accordingly.

That motherboard will still give as good performance correct? Or should I go with a sabertooth z78 over the hero?

So would my best bet be to get a cheaper motherboard and ram and possibly go for the 780 ti? 2,000 is about where I want to be price wise and that is pretty spot on.
