Hey people! today i received all my gaming pc hardware except my PSU and i want to know why my Mobo and cpu is so small...it only looks small towards our older pc's cpu whom we bought in 2007... The motherboard is Gigabyte H87M-HD3 LGA 1150 and the cpu is Intel core i5-4670 LGA 1150. the cpu is a square with lenght and wideness of about 3.6cm approximately i measured.the mobo is about 24cm in lenght and about 17.2 in wideness,.... i still think it is big enough it just feels so small towards our other older amd pc.... AND another big thing! my friends motherboard is the Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H Motherboard - Socket 1155 costing here 90$ and my motherboard Gigabyte H87M-HD3 LGA 1150 cost's 130$ here... and mine only has 1 pci slot(long graphics card slot) and his has 2 also my mobo has 2 ram slots and his has 4 so why is my mobo so expensive and it doesint even beat his cheap bored or is there somethig i am missing??? please help people!!!!whats the difference between our mobo's?

The measurements for the i5 are correct. It is the same 4670 that anyone buys.

Your motherboard is a micro-atx board. It is designed for home theatres and very small (form factor) cases. It has the same functionality as the bigger boards, it is just a little more cramped for space. There are a couple of compromises, for example there is only room for two memory modules rather than the regular four, and the assumption is that the one PCI slot will be filled with a dedicated, discrete video card. Otherwise it does everything a larger board does.

Thank you very much for your help! I've just installed everything and everything looks good... shoo! my gtx 770 fits just just in the coolermaster k550! I've also struggled with the internal connectors(F_Panel,+led-, etc.) but now i am fine and i will just get someone to check if everything is installed correctly :)
