FOR PEOPLE WHO HATE READING: driver installs are causing my new card to crash, I have tried disabling onboard MB graphics.

My EVGA GTX 780 booted up fine, gave an image on screen and was picked up by the motherboard. Everything seemed to be fine, I logged into windows 8, ran a couple programs, disabled the Mb's onboard graphics and checked temps and fan speeds. It all seemed fine, ram was picked up as was the cpu. Then I put in they EVGA driver disk and started the install, it checked my system, I did a clean install and it started to install video drivers. A message popped asking to install display drivers when I pushed yes it crashed with no image. I put the VGA back on the MB and it was a blue screen of death. so I downloaded the latest drivers and got the same results, switched PCI-E slots got the same results. I am kind of at a loss,a bad card? I am about to just return the stupid thing... also the error message was: irql_not_less_or_equal
