i currently have i3 2120 and this MB not sure if i need to upgrade as a must.
or i can just get GPU and then upgrade CPU/MB when i get more money
was asking if my MB can work with my new GPU that im buying

Motherboards do not prevent you from using a gpu not todays motherboards anyway.

what you need to make sure is your power supply 600w 80 plus

i would ignore the r9 270x there basicly rebranded models and overpiced

and all gcn will cards will support mantle

you can upgrade your bios when you want to upgrade your cpu which you can go to ivy bridge

link is for getting the latest bios which you will need if you ever change processors later

cheapest i5 which is energy friendly i5 3350p or i5 3470

600w psu

thanks at first i will keep this MB and I3 and just get a new GPU , PSU , but later on ill upgrade CPU , MB at once when i get some budget
i just asked if my MB will work fine or i actually need to get a new one

motherboard is fine for gaming you wont need a new one at all

i3 is good for medium gaming

when you feel like your performance is sluggish flash the motherboards bios and you can put a i5 ivy bridge in non k wouldnt recomend overclocking on it hence why i recomend non k
