CISCO WS-X4612-SFP-E or CISCO WS-X4712-SFP+E whats the difference?

Solution
Because that company is full of crap. I am going to bet they are not a authorized cisco distributor or they would have bragged about it on their main page. That does not mean you can't buy equipment from them you just will not be able to ever put it on a service contract.

You should only trust the cisco site for features and part numbers. Then order if the part number does not match exactly be very careful about ordering from vendors.

As I suspected from the part number SFP+E means 10g SFP-E means 1g. Appears they just cut and paste the description from one part to another.
