Next step is to download drivers, just in case.

Ah. I was looking at the wrong Series 5. Didn't know there were multiple kinds
Just try pressing Fn + F9 or F10. If those don't work, press the Fn with every Fx button to see which works.
I tried finding your computer's manual, but I could only find a troubleshooting guide that didn't address your problem.
