Question about ssd raid 0

So say for example I bought 2 ssd's with read and write rates of 400mb/s, if I put them in raid 0, would I have a single drive with a read and write speed of 800mb/s or is it not quite that simple? I know 2 graphics cards in SLI doesn't mean twice the frame rate of one.

  2. yes you would get somewhere around that speed. Maybe not exactly double, but close. Assuming you are using a Sata3 motherboard
