Today I started building my computer. It was my first build and I expected there to be a few problems but I hadn't ran into anything until now. I did an external build first and that went perfect. So began to put everything in the case. I got everything set in. Cords all plugged in what I was guessing was the right place that the manuals had said to put them. And when I went to turn the machine on. Nothing. Nothin happened. Even when I opened the case and tried to turn it on straight from the motherboard it did nothing. I have no clue what it could be. Any help at all would be amazing. Or if someone could point me in the right direction. I just really hope I didn't fuck anything up

tryed resetting the bios? see im not sure if the board needed to be grouned by having it mounted is some way with a standoff hole spot acting for a ground... if that was the case then it may be done. i never fired one up with out it being mounted correctly in a case . discharg the board and pull the bios battery for about 5 secs to rest the bios and retry maby someone that knows about that ground issue will check in. i could be wrong about that.

I took it all back out and started from the beginning. I started the external build and same thing is happening. I'm getting power to the motherboard and video card but nothing is starting up.
