cannot use the internet

I have a Toshiba satellite c655-s5504 and cannot get on the internet. I tried chrome, firefox, IE, and safari, they all do nothing but load. I am connected to my home network, and it says that I have internet access. What can I do to fix this?

You shouldn't have to, but this is a peculiar situation. What proxy settings are you running now?
