AM3+ refresh any time soon?

I've been doing a little research into AM3+ boards for a build I'm doing for a friend, and i noticed that there hasn't been any motherboard refreshes, other than one ROG board from ASUS, by the looks of things. Is it likely that there will be any updated boards coming out in the future? Like an entry in MSI's new gaming line, perhaps?

i think amd posted a road map and they are keeping the am3+ and fx as the top of the line for at least the next year and are updating apus instead if i remember or somthing like that. so dont think there will be any updates

Well that's disappointing, if so. I've seen the roadmap, but was hoping that maybe the motherboards would get some updates with the newer features, like SATA 3 and USB 3. Currently motherboards with both those features are pretty hard to find on AM3+. And there are litterally no decent mATX AM3+ boards out right now, which is frustrating. Well hopefully something will come out, just to keep AM3+ alive as a platform
