So right now i have a computer picked out for 1020$, it's
i5 4570
radeon hd 7870 2gb
8gb ram
b85 motherboard
windows 7. I have 3 questions.

1. Would a 550w PSU be enough to power the 7870? Also would it be worth an extra 60$ to upgrade it to a 750w PSU?

2. Would an aftermarket CPU cooler be required or helpful. Or is the Intel stock cooler sufficient for the job?

3. Would an additional case fan help?

If i add in these three upgrades the price will go up an extra $100, so are these things worth it? thanks.

1 - yes it should be enough, and hopefully it's a good quality PSU. and it depends - do you plan to add more stuff later on, or just replace with newer / better?

2 - helpful, and not terribly expensive. most stock coolers are loud-ass-mofos when your CPU is even somewhat busy. i've rarely used a stock unit.

3 - these can be added easily later if the case temps are too high, so i'd skip them for now. adding fans is as easy as adding ram sticks. actually probably takes longer than ram sticks, what with the tools and screws and cable management...

NO, if it is a good brand, 550W should be enough

use stock cooler

3. Would an additional case fan help?
depends on how many fan you already have? usually 2 intake 2 exhaust configuration is enough
