Hi everybody,
I am looking for a PSU of at least 850W (I will have a GTX 780 card and, maybe in the future, a second one). I also want it to be quiet so I know I have to pay for that. Ideally I would like something like SEASONIC SS-860XP or SEASONIC SS-1050XM but they are expensive. I am thinking of SEASONIC M12II-850 and I was wondering if you have any other advice.

Thanks in advance for your answers

thanks a lot for your input. all your suggestions are about 850W PSUs. Do you think those can handle 2 top-of-the-notch video cards? Or should I look for 1000W PSUs?

An 850 Watt should be sufficient if you're not planning on any heavy overclocking of the CPU and GPUs. Otherwise move up to a 1000 Watt if you will be doing significant overclocking.

Also, what do you consider to be "top-of-the-notch video cards"? MSI GTX 780 Lightning or EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Classified ACX?
