This is my first post on this forum and I am quite new to gaming. Below is the system configuration I have finalized which would be my first gaming PC. Please let me know if it would be enough to play high end games at Ultra setting like Crysis 3, CoD Ghost etc

Processor : Intel i5-4430
Motherboard : MSI Z87
Ram : 2 X 4GB Kingston Hyper BlueX
HDD : 1TB Seagate Barracuda
Graphic Card : MSI NVidia GeForce N760 2GB OC

Also please suggest appropriate PSU for above configuration.

Thanks,
Chetan

I hope you mean Gaming PC. Cpu is the same things as Processor but yeah your build looks pretty good You should get a cx 600 or a ocz modstream 600 watt psu. You can't play Crysis 3 with everything turned up though. Pick as solution if this helped :)

you do realize you have a non "k" (non overclockable) cpu on a z87 (overclocking) board right?

given that you seem to be on a low budget... get a cheaper H series board and put the extra cash saved into the build. or get a k series cpu.

i'd add a bit more ram 2x4 is better.

and if you have enough cash after getting a cheaper mobo... maybe upgrade the gpu one notch more

Thanks for the reply. Could you please suggest a overclockable CPU which will go well with my given configuration?

If it works well at 1080p setting, its enough for me. How i5 3570K would go with MSI Z87? Is this combination good?

3570k is ivy bridge (socket 1155) which was the previous generation while z87 is haswell (socket 1150) which is the current generation.

in short: it wont fit in that board. you would want a i5-4670k haswell 1150 socket chip. or if you wanted to use the older generation for some reason that would be a z77 board.
