thats why i asked if he didn't buy it yet, i would recommend something better.

lol you misunderstood me here :), the 220w is for both the CPU and the card combined (95w CPU +124w card [heavy gaming]) and i mentioned "without OC".

I wouldnt risk, you are looking at the real power euhmmm should be around 450watt even though it says 500. Then consider that an PSU loses its wattage over time, in short terms you could brick your system and wont be able to fix it.

I would recommend atleast a 550 watt Gold rated power supply, its always good to invest in a decent powersuplly with plenty power.

Precisely what Anas said :p, posting at the same time, awkward xD.

@Anas: I dont know where u got that idea 220 watt, thats an idea from hell: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-r9-280x-r9-270x-r7-260x,3635-18.html

about 150 for the GPU and it can be way way more,

Up to 220 for that CPU??? are you kidding me...

yeah i did like 5 psu calculators and they were all in 400-480 range. i might get the 550 seasonic gold, i had a 660 and a 7850 and they both ran fine but the 270x requires 500min sooooo guess we will see
