What is your budget?
What power supply do you have at the moment?

I would suggest spending more on the GPU and less on CPU as the I7 has a lot less benefit than a 100$ extra on a graphics card would.

Around $800 i dont need the best of the best and the graphics card is currently whats in my computer so thats why im just using that one. My games recently have started to jump lag for no reason because my computer can handle it but i think thats something is wrong inside it. I dont know if its because im running my OS and everything off a SSD thats too small to run the games so i have a seperate (small laptop harddrive) where im running everything else off of. Plus im running 2 power supplies 1 for my computer and one specefically for my GPU. I just want the game lag to stop. ( long story short this computer has been through hell and its time for a new one. I just wanted to know if this stuff would fix my issues). Im pretty sure everything above was already purchased for me as a gift from my brother. Just wanted to make sure everything was good before opening them and keeping them.

The power supply is a Thermaltake 700w tr2.
