Hi tom's community, I am building a new gaming PC. So got the Coolermaster storm enforcer cabinet which has a good air flow arrangement. The fans now installed in the PC are
1. Front: 200mm Red LED fan x 1 (Intake)
2. Rear: 120mm black fan x 1 (Exhaust)
3. Top: 200mm Red LED fan x 1(Exhaust)
4. 2 x 120mm fans in Cooler master Hyper 212(CPU)( Push pull )
I have planned of buying i5 4670k, and gtx 760.
Do my PC need a fan controller. If so suggest me a good one that is compatible. Thanks

Dear Jnraj, basically, you don't need a fan controller. However, if you are interested in a fan controller, is that because you find your system too noisy?

Thanks for the response, :) As mentioned I haven't assembled my PC yet, so I don't know whether the setup will be noisy or not. If fan controller is not necessary, can you suggest me a good motherboard that has upto 4 on-board controllers, I don't think it is necessary for the all the fans to run at constant speed. My options for mobo are Asus and Gigabyte with Z87 chipsets.

Dear Jnraj, regarding the motherboards, considering budget, the GA-Z87-HD3 http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4489#sp is one of the best, it has 4 fan headers. Another one, the GA-Z87X-UD3H http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4481#sp has 5 fan headers, including a fan connector special for dual CPU fan setup or water-cooling.
With these modern motherboards you can select fan profiles (high/low speed) for all the fans, so a fan controller is not necessary.

Is Asus Z87 Pro a better choice over the Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H. :)
