You've got an unlimited budget but you have to validate your choices and not just pick the most expensive items for the sake of it . After all, it's obvious you don't need to spend thousands on a gaming system. This build would be for you. Maybe some of you already own a dream machine but for those who don't, what would yours be?

I love my rig it was still expensive because i was always changing everything but im happy with it. Wouldnt mind another 7970 tho for tri fire but i have no problem holding 96fps on 1440p

If i were to start over i would get another full tower, amd or intel to me it doesnt matter so much for gaming.Dual liquid cooling loops with 2 480mm rads, 2-3 290xs with water blocks and two 1000w power supplies just in case haha

The benchmarks for the new R9-290X with aftermarket coolers still show it behind the 780 Ti, a pair of those is probably the best option right now. This would be my system, awesome FPS @ 1440P for a long while.
