does anyone know here if such a list exist?
like from the tallest ram down to the shortest one?

I really would wanna know where I can find such list and help me find a appropriate CPU cooler for my rig the DOESN'T have issues with the ram clearance and such a list will help me

that's the thing... I can't seem to find ANY :( and I don't like close loop water cooling because I don't like the thought that someday it'll fail and might take a few parts of the rig with when it does (if it does leak)...

I forgot but I am looking at the "higher end"/twin heatsinks of the air cooling spectrum and no such thing exists sadly

It's a MSI Z87 MPOWER MAX here is a image (not mine just got it off the net)...

and the CPU I'm using is a Intel Core I5 4670K

as what I have said in a previous reply...

Unless you drop your rig (in which case you'll have other problems), an all in one won't leak. I've had an extra that's been thrown around and beat to crap for about 2 years, and it hasn't leaked yet. If the pump fails, your computer will shut off due to an overheat in order to protect itself. An all in one will outperform almost any air cooler you find, and lower temps usually equate to a longer life for your components.

Well if you don't want to don't, I won't stop you (but for the record, you can mount a 240mm rad in your case, It attaches to the top).

actually I can't mount a 240 (I was looking at the H100i as a "possibility") but then it was all again shattered to smithereens due size constraint of the case as well... I also asked about the possibility of the H100i fitting in the case in another thread but it was said that it "might" fit if I attach it outside (top of the case outside which I don't like) or do a few modding myself (which I can't since I don't even know how to attach lights to a casefan :/)

on a side note did you sleep?

basically you are saying if I buy a H100i right now? I wouldn't have ANY problem installing it in my rig (no problem for the ram height clearance too)
but then there are a lot of sites posting about their H100i having "limited" compatability with it?

especially this one...

http://www.overclock.net/t/1144409/h80-h80i-h90-h100-h100i-h110-case-compatibility-thread-page-1-for-full-listings

nice rig BTW is it yours?

No you shouldn't, Corsair wants your money. From what I can tell, the people who are having problems are the ones who are trying to do push/pull configs (which is pointless). Just make sure your RAM doesn't have some silly heatsink that extends an inch off the ram itself and you'll be fine.

That rig isn't mine, I google searched the case.

good thing the corsair vengeance heatsinks doesn't have any of those "silly" parts that protrude off the ram itself then again a air cooler is still a must (for me) because its just the fans that could "fail" in it thanks for the insight...
If no air cooling heatsink is compatible (dual tower) guess its just an old hyper 212 evo for me :(

I also searched be quiet's dark rock pro 2 and was hoping it would be the one but my ram still protrudes it by 5mms :(
