Hey guys, my pc has shut itself down on a number of occasions of what I am certain is high temperature problems. I am trying to determine whether this is my psu overheating or my cpu, as I have heard that the fx6300 temperature is about 65 degrees before it shuts down. Also I am unsure whether this is my psu as I have the corsair gs700w and the fan does not always spin, It is temperature activated but I have never actually seen it run at all, and when my pc does shut itself down (happened on a few occasions) my psu is burning hot. There is no warning when my pc shuts itself down, it just cuts the power straight away. If this isn't caused by temperature issues what could it be and how can I determine it. I can try and replace to psu if this is the problem. Otherwise I will be buying a noctua nh-d14 cpu cooler if it is the cpu causing the problem, I am using the stock cooler on my cpu at the moment.

The fan of the CPU always spins, the psu fan doesn't always spin as it is temperature activated. No my CPU isn't overclocked. I believe my cpu is around 60 - 65 degrees when it shuts down.
