I want a laptop with two graphics cards, one for internal and one to drive a large external display. My current laptop can't keep up with chat rooms on the large external display. And it's a pretty good laptop (don't remember the graphics card it has, but it has an external port for both HDMI and parallel ports. it just slows down and I need a better plan on a portable platform.

The laptop may come with integrated graphics and you can add a discrete video card to that. I would go with an AMD setup since you can Crossfire X the two video options giving you one powerful graphics card to run two displays.

What are the specs of your laptop? Most any modern hardware, even igpus, should have no problem running 2 large displays.
