Sorry if I'm asking the same questions that other people have asked before, but I'm trying to get a definite answer.
In a nutshell, I've got a Radeon HD 7870 for my GPU and it looks like it requires two 6 pin PCI express power cables. The PSU that I have is a Corsair CX430 and it has one 6/8 pin cable. I'm wondering if I need to purchase a new PSU, or could I get away with using the 8 pin.
It's my first build and I want to make sure that I'm doing things correctly. A little help would be great. Thanks!
